Vendor Spotlight: Petal’s Edge Floral

26 Jul

Gerry and Rebecca of Petal’s Edge are two of my favorite floral designers in the area. D.C is very lucky to have so many talented vendors in the area, and Petal’s Edge is a great starting point if you are looking to design your event or wedding. They both have over 10 years experience which allows them to constantly curate new ideas and bring a fresh perspective when designing an event.  Petal’s Edge has an amazing shop in Old Town Alexandria and they take meetings by appointment during the week. You can contact Gerry and Rebecca at info@petalsedge.com and enjoy a few snaps of their impressive designs!

Floral Friday: Bells of Ireland

16 Mar

I love the unique look and texture of this under used bloom. They hold to their shape and are great for any time of arrangement from centerpieces to pew decor. Look to Navy and Green, Lime and Yellow, and Green, White, and Black as great color options when using these florals.

I love how the florals are used above the mirror. This would be great as an accent for a mantle or door at the church in a similar fashion.
