I have the pleasure of planning a sweet bridal brunch themed after honey and the phrase “meant to bee” for a group of women this spring at Potomac Point Winery. I pulled together a color story of mint, butter, and pinks and used fabulous linens from DC Rentals as a starting point. There are so many fun ways to bring together a theme and they don’t always have to be so literal but instead try something fun like honeycomb paper balls to inspire with texture and hexagon placemats as a nod to the hexagon of a bee’s honeycomb.
The ladies dined on a brunch menu of french toast, fruit parfait, a full biscuit bar, and a delicious cake from CakeLore. Signature drinks of Ginger Honey Cocktails and mimosas were passed by servers along with a wide range of Potomac Point Wines. Special thank you to our vendor team and I am so thankful to have had this Brunch featured on Weddings Chicks http://www.weddingchicks.com/2013/08/15/honey-themed-bridal-shower/
